During the deployment of OneConnect on Kubernetes, each service requires an internal IP address within the cluster to enable communication between the different pods.
In a standard environment, six internal IPs are used, as each of the main services has its own assigned address.

Additionally, an external IP address is required to expose services outside the cluster, such as the frontend or the main gateway.
This external address can be either public or private, depending on the environment and the type of load balancer configured.
