Azure - One Connect Deployment Prerequisites

Before you Begin:

The following deployment manuals assumes a basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
For more information, refer to Kubernetes core concepts for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Before you begin:

• If you don't have an Azure account, create a free account.

• If you're unfamiliar with the Azure Cloud Shell, review the Overview of Azure Cloud Shell.

• Ensure that the identity you use to create the cluster has the minimum required permissions.
  For more details, see Access and identity options for AKS.

Technical Prerequisites for Proof of Concept (PoC)

Kubernetes Deployment Options

The OneConnect Platform can be deployed on Kubernetes clusters. However, for better scalability and operational simplicity, we recommend using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), especially when working on the Azure Portal.

Note: These specifications are intended for PoC purposes. For production use, additional scaling and optimization may be required based on actual workloads.

For a Proof of Concept, we recommend selecting the "Dev/Test" cluster preset configuration.
For production environments, we recommend using the "Production Economy" preset.
